New Orijeru of Igbooye: A Milestone for the Kingdom and Ijebuland

Oba Abdurasak Akanni Musa has been crowned as the Orijeru of Igbooye Kingdom, marking a significant moment for both the kingdom and the broader Ijebuland. The event took place in the Epe Local Government area, with the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Kayode Robert, presenting the Staff of Office and Instrument of Appointment on behalf of Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

A professional town planner and graduate of the University of Lagos, Oba Musa brings a wealth of knowledge in urban development to his new role. His ascension to the throne is seen as a major milestone for Igbooye Kingdom, as he is widely respected for his expertise and leadership.

The ceremony highlights the importance of traditional leadership in maintaining peace and fostering progress in local communities.
